Speedway Benefits to partner with WARPA at Annual Event


CHARLOTTE, NC (November 7, 2014) – Speedway Benefits along with the Western Auto Racing Promoters Association (WARPA) are proud to announce a new partnership that will begin at this year’s annual WARPA seminar November 21-22 in Portland, OR.Humpy Wheeler

“We are proud to be working with the officials from WARPA,” said Speedway Benefits President, H.A. ‘Humpy’ Wheeler. “Over the years WARPA has done a great service to the racing industry with the events they have put together. We feel very fortunate to partner with them to help grow both WARPA and Speedway Benefits,” continued Wheeler. “WARPA gives us a great platform to speak face to face with our valued west coast tracks. Together we feel we can grow WARPA to new heights over the next couple of years.”

Speedway Benefits will be bringing some of the key content to WARPA on Saturday afternoon, November 22, that will also be shared at the Speedway Benefits Promoter’s Conference in conjunction with the Performance Racing Industry (PRI)-Indianapolis in December. Topics at the show include: how to use social media to drive ticket sales, how to sell local sponsorship and how to earn maximum profits at your concession stand.

The Western Auto Racing Promoters Association has a rich history with promoters sharing their knowledge with others in the industry in order to strengthen auto racing in the Western United Sates and Canada. Past Western Promoters of the Year include: Steve Beitler (Skagit Speedway), Doug and Traci Hobbs (Evergreen Speedway), Adam Nelson (Meridian Speedway) and National Promoter of the Year, Joe Doellefeld. These are just a few of the promoters that attend the Western Auto Racing Promoters Association seminar being held on November 21-22 in Portland Oregon.

“The Western Auto Racing Promoters Association is unique in the way we bring promoters, associations and commercial vendors together in one room to share their thoughts, ideas, products and knowledge to benefit all there to further their goals for the upcoming seasons,” said WARPA secretary, Bert Johnson.  “Not to mention the quality speakers that assist in bringing these goals to fruition that will ultimately benefit our respective tracks.”
